- Multi-Perspective Palm Reading - Level 5: FINGER SHAPES! (5/9)
There are various perspectives available for assessing finger morphology - but 'finger length' + the '2D:4D finger length ratio' are the most common used perspectives.
Finger length can be measured relative to hand length, hand breadth and even full body length (usually only the middle finger is used as a representative for 'the' finger length). But the length of the indivual fingers can also measured/observed relative to other fingers. Various studies have revealed that various aspects of the fingers can reveal 'diagnostic clues' that relate to many diseases, disorders & syndromes. (More specified guidelines will follow later) Professor John T. Manning from England introduced the controversial '2D:4D digit ratio' as a prenatal marker for the hormonal environment during foetal life. Studies have revealed that the 2D:4D digit ratio has a connection with many aspects of human life, including: behavior, sexuality, abilities & even predisposition to disease. (More specified guidelines will follow later)
An overview of the fingernail markers that are included in 'Multi-Perspective Palm Reading' so far, is presented below.
The list will grow when more themes becomes updated/added.
